Tel Aviv - Bsafe Information Systems (1983), Ltd., a developer of network and data-security products for IBM iSeries (AS/400), zSeries (mainframe), and open source, announced today that it has raised a $1.5 million in Series A investment funding. The investment was made by Hyperion Israel Venture Partners.
The proceeds of this financing will primarily be used for expansion of Bsafe Information Systems' Sales and Marketing operations in North America. Bsafe Information Systems is specifically focusing on sales channel development, recruitment of additional staff and public relations activity in North America. Parallel efforts will be aimed to further enhancethe company's innovative product for iSeries -Bsafe/Global security for iSeries-as well as to roll out its key concepts and core technologies to other platforms.
