Lewis S. Ranieri, General Partner
Lewis S. Ranieri is the founder and prime originator of the Hyperion Group. He also serves as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Ranieri & Co., Inc., a private investment advisor and management corporation, and is Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of Hyperion Capital Management, a registered investment advisor. Additionally, Lewis is Chairman of Computer Associates, Financial Realty Trust, Capital Lease Funding, and Franklin Bank, and is a Director of Reckson Associates Realty Corp. Prior to forming the Hyperion Group, Lewis was Vice Chairman of Salomon Brothers, where he also worked for more than two decades.

Scott A. Shay, General Partner
Scott A. Shay has been with the Hyperion Group since 1988, and has more than 25 years' experience in the investment banking and venture capital industries. Scott has served as chairman of the Board of Directors of Signature Bank, a NY based commercial bank with an $800 million market cap since its inception, and as a Director of Bank United Corp. Prior to joining the Hyperion Group, Scott served as a Director and a senior member of the mergers and acquisitions department of Salomon Brothers, Inc. Scott serves on the boards of directors of Allied Healthcare International and Super Derivatives.

Robert A. Perro, General Partner
Robert A. Perro, a certified public accountant, is the Chief Financial Officer of the Hyperion Group. In addition, he is a director of Franklin Bank Corp. (publicly traded), Merrick Bank Corporation and an officer and/or director of various holding companies owned by the Hyperion Group. Prior to joining the Hyperion Group in1993, Robert was a partner in a public accounting firm and then CEO of his own accounting firm. He holds a BA from Bernard Baruch College of the City University of New York and an MS in Taxation from C.W. Post College of Long Island University.

Yale Stark, General Partner
Yale Stark has been managing venture capital investments, leveraged buyouts and asset backed transactions with the Hyperion Group since 1991. He was actively involved in the Hyperion Group's investment in Bank Hapoalim from the earliest stages and was directly responsible for the structuring of the joint ventures between Silicon Valley Bank and Bank Hapoalim, and between DLJ and Bank Hapoalim. In October 2000, Yale founded Hyperion Israel, and he now serves on several Hyperion Israel portfolio companies, including SeaPass, V-Secure, and Federation Web. Yale holds a BSc in Finance from Yeshiva University.
