Yale Stark, General Partner
Yale Stark has been managing venture capital investments, leveraged buyouts and asset backed transactions with the Hyperion Group since 1991. He was actively involved in the Hyperion Group's investment in Bank Hapoalim from the earliest stages and was directly responsible for the structuring of the joint ventures between Silicon Valley Bank and Bank Hapoalim, and between DLJ and Bank Hapoalim. In October 2000, Yale founded Hyperion Israel, and he now serves on the Board of Directors of  several Hyperion Israel portfolio companies, including SeaPass, V-Secure, and Federation Web. Yale holds a BSc in Finance from Yeshiva University.

David Rubner, General Partner
David Rubner joined Hyperion Israel in 2000 after serving nine years as President and Chief Executive Officer of ECI Telecom Ltd., one of Israel's largest high-tech companies. Under David's leadership, ECI's revenues grew from $70 million to $1.1 billion. Prior to that he held the positions of Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Telecommunications Division, Vice President of Operations and Chief Engineer. Previously, David was a Senior Research Engineer of the Westinghouse Research Laboratories in Pittsburgh, PA. Today, David serves on the boards of Check Point Software, Koor Industries, Elbit Imaging, and Hyperion Israel portfolio companies cVidya, Bamboo, and Kailight. He holds a BSc in Engineering from Queen Mary College, University of London and an MSc from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, and has eight US patents registered in his name. David also serves on the boards of trustees of Bar-Ilan University, Jerusalem College of Technology and Shaare Zedek Hospital and was recipient of the Industry Prize in 1995.

Charles Benchabat, General Partner
Charles Benchabat has been with Hyperion Israel since 2000. He joined Hyperion from the Israeli office of Robertson Stephens, where he was Vice President of Investment Banking. Previously, he served as Vice President, Head of Research. Earlier, Charles worked as a senior analyst at National Consultants, the research entity of the Bank Leumi group, one of the largest banks in Israel. Prior to this, Charles was assistant manager at JP Morgan Futures Inc. in New York, senior systems analyst at DRI Resources (an S&P entity) and held various engineering positions. Charles serves on the Board of Directors of Hyperion Israel portfolio companies Xloom, B-Safe, and Cloverleaf. He holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Ben Gurion University in Israel, and an MA in Computer Sciences from Queens College of City University of New York.

Israel Hain, Senior Associate
Israel Hain is a Senior Associate of Hyperion Israel and has been with the Hyperion Group since 2001. His responsibilities include initiating transactions, managing deal flow and the preliminary evaluation of companies. Israel is primarily involved in pre-investment activities, due diligence and research. Israel serves on the Board of Directors for Hyperion Israel portfolio company Xloom, and is an observer on cVidya, and Kailight.
